Artist Edouard Burgeat’s new exhibit at Neu West extends broadly in a contextual sense from personal to global. The former manifests as a hidden journey and the global as a double-sided mixed media piece playfully lit. Through these multiple media, material, processes, and techniques, the viewer is confronted with the past dynamically and invited to question history beyond the lens of national identity.
